Microblading and ombre brows, also known as powder brows, are semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing techniques designed to mimic the natural hair strokes and soft shading of your eyebrows. Microblading uses fine, hair-like strokes to fill in sparse areas and create realistic-looking brows. Ombre brows add a subtle gradient effect, giving your brows a softly powdered finish that looks like perfectly applied makeup.

Both treatments work by depositing pigment just beneath the skin’s surface, providing a natural yet defined brow that lasts up to 12–18 months with proper care. Whether you want to correct asymmetry, add fullness, or create a bold brow statement, these treatments offer a customizable solution that enhances your natural beauty.

Benefits of Microblading include:

  • Restoring sparse or thinning brows with realistic hair strokes
  • Creating a soft, powdered ombre effect for fuller-looking brows
  • Defining brow shape to frame your face perfectly
  • Saving time on daily brow makeup routines
  • Long-lasting results with minimal maintenance

Long-Lasting Lip Color,
Naturally Defined Results.

Lip blushing is a popular semi-permanent makeup treatment that enhances the natural color and contour of your lips using advanced lip tattooing techniques. Also known as a lip tint tattoo or semi-permanent lip color, this service is ideal for anyone wanting to improve lip symmetry, add soft pigment, or achieve the look of naturally fuller lips without daily makeup.

By gently implanting pigment into the lips, lip blushing corrects fading color, uneven borders, and discoloration—leaving you with a fresh, youthful appearance that lasts. This treatment eliminates the need for lip liner or lipstick, making it a go-to choice for clients seeking a polished, low-maintenance look.

Whether you’re looking to neutralize cool undertones, restore pigment lost with age, or achieve a long-lasting blush of color, lip blushing delivers customizable results. Our experienced providers use premium pigments and precise techniques to ensure your lip tattoo looks natural, balanced, and flattering to your skin tone.

At Facial Aesthetics, our licensed and experienced permanent makeup artists prioritize your comfort, safety, and satisfaction—ensuring your lip transformation journey leaves you with soft, effortless color that enhances your natural beauty every day.

Your Treatment Journey

  • Downtime should be expected to take 5-7 days.
  • 5 days prior begin to use lip-gloss, balm, or moisturizing stick as often as possible including before going to bed to ensure your lips are not chapped or cracked for you treatment.
  • Avoid any “all day” or “long-lasting” lipsticks or lip stains – these dry out your lips.
  • You may start exfoliating your lips daily by lightly brushing lips with soft toothbrush or clean, damp washcloth.
  • 24 hours prior avoid working out as the body heat will expand the pores.
  • 48 hours prior avoid caffeine, alcohol, and cigarettes or vape.
  • 7 days prior to treatment avoid these to minimize bruising: Aspirin or Ibuprofen, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish oil/Omega-3, Anti-coagulants or other medications that thin the blood or interfere with blood clotting, unless medically necessary. Tylenol or acetaminophen is okay to use.
  • 2 weeks prior pause using any products containing exfoliating agents, AHAs, Retin-A, lightening treatments, etc.
  • 2 weeks prior pause Botox or Dysport treatments.
  • 4 weeks prior pause laser treatments, chemical peels and glycolic facials.
  • The session typically lasts 3 hours.
  • A topical numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort.
  • Your provider will map your ideal lip shape and help you choose a flattering pigment shade.
  • Pigment is applied gradually using a device that allows for precision, blending, and a soft finish.
  • Follow the recommended permanent makeup post care routine listed under our treatment instructions.
  • Be gentle with your lips.
  • The healing process can last anywhere from 4-6 weeks. Post-healing, your brows may look lighter than they were during the treatment. This is normal, and with proper care and a touch-up 6-week post-treatment, they will retain the color.
  • Itching, flaking, bruising, pinpoint bleeding, minor scabbing, minor breakouts, swelling, and/or redness may occur and will resolve within 7-10 days of treatment.
  • Be mindful of scabbing while healing; DO NOT PICK SCABS.
  • Apply ice packs as necessary over the first 24 hours to prevent or reduce swelling.
