It’s ideal for treating deeper wrinkles, scars, sun damage, and overall skin aging, delivering powerful results with a longer recovery time.
Tetra CO2 CoolPeel® is a cutting-edge, non-invasive resurfacing treatment that uses the same CO2 technology—but with a gentler, more controlled delivery. Unlike traditional CO2 lasers, CoolPeel® treats only the skin’s superficial layers, resulting in less redness, minimal downtime, and faster healing. It’s perfect for improving fine lines, skin texture, pore size, and mild sun damage.
Both treatments use the advanced Tetra CO2 platform but are designed for different levels of intensity:
CO2 DOT is a deeper, more intensive treatment that resurfaces the skin at a fractional level, ideal for deep wrinkles, acne scars, and significant skin laxity. It requires more downtime (typically 10-14 days) but delivers dramatic rejuvenation.
CoolPeel® is a lighter treatment that refreshes the skin’s surface without significant downtime. It’s best for treating fine lines, texture irregularities, and early signs of aging with only 5-7 days of redness or flaking.

CO2 laser treatments are typically most effective and safest for Fitzpatrick skin types I–III (fair to light-medium skin tones). Clients with Fitzpatrick IV (medium to deep skin tones) may have a higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and should be carefully assessed and pre-treated with specific skincare before treatment. Fitzpatrick skin types of V-VI are not candidates for this treatment. A consultation with one of our CO2-trained providers is essential to ensure the safest, most effective plan for your skin type and goals.
